From Disability to Augmentation
The Broken Bones are the team of the first six individuals to benefit from augmentic prosthetics, before the program was halted due to an external incident that occurred during *Ascension*. It was this incident that gave Elena the idea to help and train the other members, just after she had tested using her prosthesis with a firearm and in hand-to-hand combat.
Different Stories for a Common Goal
Elena, Alba, Kayla, Franck, Park, and Hassan each have a different story and a different disability, compensated by their prosthetics and control glasses — technology from Stareyes. Each brings a unique quality to the group that makes the team powerful enough to face every challenge it encounters. Their equipment also evolves throughout the story, moving from simple prosthetics to complete protective exoskeletons that can assist them in combat.
