Artificial Gravity

The Decisive Invention

The most important invention created by Jonathan, Zara and Stareyes. Although gravity is a force that allows a body of greater mass to attract a body of lesser mass, the artificial gravity invented by Stareyes was the result of serendipity — the principle of finding something by accident while trying to create something else. The scientific team indeed found a way to create gravitational waves, but with the effect of repelling bodies.

The Key to Space

With a plate generating such downward-oriented waves, it became easy to reproduce artificial gravity inside a spacecraft, making life in space much simpler.

Life in space without gravity is very problematic: the effect on the body greatly reduces life expectancy. Injuries in weightlessness heal with great difficulty, and hemorrhages can occur easily. Sleeping, eating, or performing the simplest daily activities becomes very complex. Artificial gravity allows humans to reside permanently in space.

The Beginning of Innovation

The applications of artificial gravity are numerous and enable other technological innovations.
