Twin Brother
The twin brother of the Excelsior, it was built using the same process and the same plans. The only difference lies in its reinforced structure, using graphene and tantalum added to its initial alloy (as with the Excelsior), the Ti-Al-W-N (titanium aluminum tungsten nitride).
An Aborted Momentum
The Damocles, symbolized on its bow by a downward-pointing sword, was meant to be the second in a long series of spaceships capable of projecting themselves through gravitational portals.
In the end, it will only be the second. To find out why, you will have to read *Altruisme: Book 3 – Protection*.
In *Protection*, the Damocles undergoes a significant evolution in its form. Large additions will be made — relatively empty but highly effective in terms of armor and armament. The Damocles will then become the most powerful military ship in the Terran fleet.
